New York Yankees relief pitcher Aroldis Chapman accepts the Dunkin’ Donuts Munchkin challenge with ESNY’s Mike Vivalo.
Thank the baseball gods. Had Joe “License Plate Guy” Ruback, playing the part of fictional catcher, thrown down the one sign (signaling fastball), ESNY’s Mike Vivalo might be without half his face.
As seen from the video above, Vivalo took his show to Yankee Stadium for CC Sabathia‘s Celebrity Softball Game. When hitting the red carpet, names such as New York Giants tight end Evan Engram, Yankees great Tino Martinez, MSG Network’s Tina Cervasio, hip-hop legend Fat Joe, former NBA stud Tracy McGrady, Yankees champ Johnny Damon and more showed up to either take on the Munchkin challenge or (in the case of one individual), wave it away so swiftly.
Friday, June 7, 2019, is, of course, National Doughnut Day. While it’s tremendous doughnuts of all kinds will be consumed, especially in the great city of New York, this specific challenge must take hold. Munchkins should be flying all over the place. So much so that taxis should have issues in the streets.

Speaking of Chapman and the Yanks, the team is coming off an impressive 6-2 victory over the Toronto Blue Jays Thursday north of the border. It put an end to a pesky three-game losing streak. Now, they’ll take their first-place act to Cleveland for a three-game set with the Indians.
Baseballs and Munchkins—it’s the new Aroldis Chapman diet. Watch his production over the next few weeks, folks; his fastball could become even more legendary.
