Don’t you just hate it when you become the condiment?

Los Angeles Dodgers first baseman Matt Beaty should hate it; it happened to him on Wednesday night with the New York Mets in town.

In the top of the first inning with no score, Beaty tracked an Amed Rosario pop-up down the right-field line. A tremendous effort, no doubt, but the kid ended up with food all over his way-too-white jersey with a food face-plant to boot.

That’s the worst part; the incident happened from jump street. Beaty found himself covered in mustard on the fourth pitch of the night.

Currently playing on in the top of the third, the Mets hold a slim 3-2 advantage. Pete Alonso smacked a two-run shot in the mustard-filled first inning, his 18th of the season. Noah Syndergaard is on the bump for New York.
